ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Moveo International Festival is a one week Festival founded and artistically directed by Moveo International's current
President Riccardo Maira. The Festival works in conjunction with the Moveo International Music Performance Program and features an opening International Conference, Educational Events, Open Rehearsals and a closing Gala Concert.
 
THE MOVEO INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Moveo International Conference 2019 took place at the BCC "G. Toniolo" Conference Hall, featuring Guest Speakers from around the globe, a Networking Session as well as selected Panels, Showcases and a press release for new Programs developed by Moveo International. Furthermore President Riccardo Maira actively led the discussions and panels, effectively serving as the Moveo International Conference 2019's principal Moderator.

EDUCATIONAL EVENTS & OPEN REHEARSALS
Education plays a crucial role in Moveo International's mission. The Moveo International Festival 2019, in line with Moveo International's ethos, featured a guided educational moment of conversation between guest artists, Moveo International's President Riccardo Maira and young students from local public schools. Furthermore open rehearsals took place on the day of the Gala Concert, providing the participating auditors with a direct educational insight into the art of music-making.

THE MOVEO INTERNATIONAL GALA CONCERT
The Moveo International Gala Concert 2019 took place in the City of Noto's Baroque Opera House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and featured International Artists from Europe and the United States as well as the Sicilian Lyric Choir and Symphony Orchestra. The Event welcomed and delighted, free of charge, a wide audience from all around the world with a program which included Mozart's Requiem in D minor (K.626), a selection of Opera Scenes as well as New Music from Composer Riccardo Maira.
